The Kappa Lambda Chapter of Sigma Kappa was established in 2004 at the University North Georgia. We are continually grateful to be apart of our amazing campus and Panhellenic team!
We are one of many Sigma Kappa chapters that participate annually in the Atlanta Walk to End Alzheimers. The walk brings many people together such as our sisters, family members, and friends. We love meeting up with surrounding chapters, and meeting people who share the same spirit with us to raise awareness for this great cause. This past year, 2019, our chapter raised over $17,000. We are proud to say that this number keeps growing every year.
The Kappa Lambda Chapter has adopted a new local philanthropy, Chelsey Park Health & Rehabilitation. This philanthropy will fit in closely with our philanthropies Alzheimer's and Gerontology. We will be partnering with Chelsey Park to help raise money for them, participate in events they hold, and show how much Sigma Kappa cares from them!
At one of our Ultraviolet events, our sisters host a Smokeout and we helo raise money for the Sigma Kappa Foundation, so that we can support other Sigma Kappas! We love having the opportunity to reach out to other campus organizations and spend some time getting to know new friends.
